How to make (Russian/Ukrainian) Red Borsch!!!


HOW TO MAKE BORSCH!!!




Step-by-Step Instructions:

Ingredients:
6 - 7 potatoes (depends on the size of the potatoes)
6 - 7 chicken thigh pieces
1 - 2 carrots (shredded)
1/2 or 1 - white or red onion (cut in cubes)
2 big red beets or 3 little ones (cut into strips)
1/2 - cabbage (cut very fine)
a bit of green onions (scallions)
a bit of parsley
Your favorite seasonings & spices
SALT & PEPPER

Step. 1
First, get the chicken thighs and put salt and pepper on it (seasoned it) and then fry it in the pan, after frying cut the chicken thighs into cubes. Then, put the chicken thighs it in the water to boil.  Just like that:


 


Step. 2
Get about 6 or 7 potatoes, it all depends on how much Borsch you are making and how big the potatoes are. Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes or half cubes.  Add potatoes to the boiling water where your chicken is.  
Just like in the picture below:


Step. 3
Prepare to cut all of your vegetables:


Cut 1 white onion into the little cubes.


Then, shred one or two carrots.


Put your cut onion to fry. Once it's done frying...


Add carrot to fry with the onion.


Then, add 1 - 8oz. can of Tomato Sauce.


Just like that!!!


All Done with the flavoring!!! 
Now we can add that to chicken and potatoes.


Step. 4
Then, take Red beets 2 or 3 depends on the size, cook them in the separate water after they are cooked and have cooled down, it's time to cut them.  Just like that:


Put cut beets into the borsch!!!


Step. 5
Now we can take half of the cabbage and cut it very thinly.  
Just like that:




Also, cut some Parsley and Green onion as well!!!


Add your favorite seasonings, Salt & Pepper; 
then bring it to boil, taste it and WE ARE DONE!!!




It is Time to Eat Some "BORSCH" 
with a spoon of Sour Cream!!!
