11/29/15
Made some Turkey and Mushroom Gravy from the leftover Turkey!!!
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1.
So just put some shredded leftover turkey on a skillet with some oil, (add any kind of oil) then chop 3 - 4 cloves of garlic and sprinkle it on the top of the turkey. Just like that:
Step 2.
After turkey has been frying on the skillet for about 5 min on medium heat, in the meantime cut up some mushrooms, then add it to the skillet.
Step 3.
Put spices (like salt, pepper and some lemon & pepper) on the top and add some more oil to the skillet if you need to. After turkey and mushrooms have been frying for about 5 min on the medium heat add 1 package of Gravy and then 1 quart carton of Heavy whipping cream. At the end just add a pinch of Saffron to the top and mix it with the spoon.
Ingredients:
2 Tbsp canola oil (or olive oil)
3 - 4 cloves of garlic
10 medium size - chopped mushrooms
1 - package of Country Gravy
Salt and Pepper, plus Lemon Pepper (I use Kosher Salt)
1 - Quart of Heavy Whipping Cream
2-3 cups of leftover turkey meat, cut into bite-sized pieces
A pinch of Dry Saffron
Step 4.
Get it to a boil. Taste it, make sure there is enough salt and pepper and your gravy is done.
